A chance meeting with a leading local alpaca breeder, Hilary Shenton, who had an interest in producing knitwear, steered me in the direction of the fabulous alpaca socks you'll find on this website.
I started the business in March 2006 using only British produced alpaca but we just could not get enough of the highest grade fibre we required and now import substantial amounts of alpaca yarn from Peru.
The yarn is dyed in two factories in the UK, it is then knitted up into all the ranges we have and the toes of each pair are hand linked by incredibly capable artisans. The socks then go to a finisher where they are washed, dried, pressed and then back to the knitting factory to be paired up, size labelled and packed. It is a long process and can take up to nine months. The sock factory is one of only three factories in the UK to hand link the toes of socks.
This is our twelfth year of trading and we are still trying to extend the range of colours and styles. Please view our Trust Pilot and Trusted Shops reviews.
